We had such a fabulous experience with Blue Water Sailing and Adriana and Radu and cannot recommend them enough! We arrived to a very clean and tidy boat and welcome drinks, then discussed various options for our itinerary based on time, weather, and our wishes, and set up sailing to paradise! Adrianna and Radu are timely and professional, friendly and outgoing, and are very knowledgable about sailing and about all the islands. They offered advice on must sees/must do's on each island as well as recommendations for food. We followed their advice on each of the 5 islands we visited and had a spectacular time! They have photos and maps of each of the islands and really are fabulous tour guides full of so much knowledge and advice! We sailed on the Albatross, but did get to learn about and briefly see their second boat the Vitamin Sea which is equally as nice and taken care of. Their boats are very clean and the amount of time and effort they put into maintaining them in pristine condition is evident. Because they sail and charter their own boats, you can rest assured the boats are in great condition because they care so much about them. One of the other fabulous things about sailing with them was they would find very private and picturesque coves or swimming areas to anchor and offer us use of their paddleboard, snorkeling equipment, floating noodles, etc. And the best part is they have a drone and took the coolest photos and videos of us from their drone, and gave us all the photos to take home, in addition to putting together a compilation video for us! They truly went above and beyond. We really appreciated how thorough they were in communicating with us prior to the trip, their professionalism, their adaptability, their touring advice, their photography, and how they made us feel so welcome and like family on the trip! If you're planning on sailing greece, please sail with Blue Water Sailing on the Albatross or Vitamin Sea! You won't regret it!! Such a spectacular trip and unforgettable experience! We loved how we got to relax and unwind each day for several hours on the water, then gear up and explore the various islands, then wind down at night with a drink on the yacht! We spent a week onboard the Albatross during our honeymoon and it was the absolute highlight of the trip! The places we visited, which we could only have gotten by boat, were spectacular. The food, the scenery, the people, we loved everything. Adriana and Radu are amazing, fun to hang out with, they gave us tips of things to do (and not to do) at each place we visited, and take the safety of everyone onboard seriously. Waking up every morning sailing on the sea and swimming in a secluded spectacular beach is something we'll never forget. Is hard to describe, you just have to do it! A special thanks to Radu & Adriana for helping make our honeymoon the trip of a lifetime! We spent nearly 3 weeks in Europe, but we definitely splurged on the 1 week we spent on the Albatross, and without a doubt, it was worth every penny. This was the highlight of our Honeymoon, and I'd recommend booking a charter with them to anyone. The boat was very nice, it was in great shape & very well maintained. They did such a good job getting us from port to port, and giving us valuable advice at each stop. They were fun and outgoing to be around, yet gave us our space at the same time, as if we had the whole boat to ourselves. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, and relax on our honeymoon. They even made us Souvlaki and gave us a bottle of wine on our last night. We were stunned by their generosity! I'm not sure what we loved more, our time at sea on the boat, or spending each night exploring a new village. We recently spent an incredible week sailing with Adriana and Radu for our honeymoon and cannot recommend this experience highly enough. All of the great things mentioned in previous reviews are spot on. The boat is phenomenal and there is simply no other way to experience all of the islands is such a relaxing and intimate fashion. In one day alone, we ate breakfast at a café in Paros, sailed to Delos to see ancient archaeological excavations, stopped at a private bay to swim/snorkel, then finally sailed on to Mykonos in plenty of time to explore the island before dinner. It seemed like a full vacation in one day. Adriana and Radu are both extremely kind, fun, and knowledgeable and can provide assistance/advice for anything and everything you’re hoping to do. Some recommendations from our experience: -Pack lightly. As you’d imagine, there isn’t a ton of space in the cabin and you won’t want to spend much time below deck anyway. -Take the chance to talk to Adriana and Radu. They do their best to respect your privacy, however you’ll find that getting to know them is one of the best aspects of the trip. They know all of the islands so well that they will be able to provide a great recommendation for whatever you’re looking for. Just ask! -Be careful of crowds in some of the more popular islands for tourists. We were a bit ahead of the season so it wasn’t much of an issue, but it’s easy to see how crowded islands such as Mykonos and Santorini can become during the high season. All of the islands are beautiful, so it may be more enjoyable to spend some more time in places like Paros and Naxos than fight the crowds at the more popular vacation islands. Again, it’s best to simply outline what you’re looking for to Adriana and Radu and follow their advice on which islands will be able to best provide it. -Take this trip! We haven’t experienced anything else like it and are already talking about when we can sail with Adriana and Radu again. What an AMAZING Time we had aboard the Albatross!!! My wife and I spent a full week with Captain Radu & Adriana. Words can hardly explain their level of service from booking with them through the very end! We are ALREADY planning another return in 2016. This time for at least 2 weeks. They fully tailor your trip to your needs, wants, and of course weather conditions. Captain Radu & Adriana also act as concierges and assist you and guide you with whatever you want to do on land. They are simply amazing and go well above and beyond their roles as hosts. We showed up as Nervous Customers, and left as Great Friends!!!
